Are these symptoms of Anxiety?!

Question: Are these symptoms of Anxiety.?
Hello there. I recently discovered that I have heart palpitations. I got really dizzy one day and my heart was racing like crazy. I dialled 999 and went to hospital. They gave me two ECG's (spelling.? lots of wires on my chest), an x-ray, a heart Echo and they took my blood pressure about 500 times, all reading normal but a little high.

I have a fear of heart problems, and was wondering if this has caused me to develop anxiety.?

I also have been drinking heavily recently.

Oh and I sit really slouched over at my desk all day, could this lead to breathing difficulties.?

Hey =]
Well i know my brother was suffering from anxiety and he went to the doctor and told him everything that was worrying him and he said he felt a lot better. He was then referred to a counsiller and I noticed he talks to people more about his problems and worries now. He said just by having one session with the counsiller he felt like a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders

His symptoms were that he couldnt visit someones house for an hour it was like he just couldnt sit still. He was always tapping his foot or biting his nails.
He also said that sometimes he would be lying on the couch and he suddenley felt like he couldnt breath for no apparent reason.
He used to go drinking if something bad happened to him because he wouldnt face the problem. Then his doctor told him that drinking makes the problem a lot worse he said like the next day he would be even more anxious than ever and he told him to avoid drink altogther if he could. And he said to stay away from anything with a lot of caffeine in it like red bull. My advice to you would be to go for a long walk everyday it clears your head and uses up your nervous energy.
Hope my answer helped
Good luck =]

Yes its Anxiety disorder my partner had exactly the same, see your GP to ask about Beta blockers to stop the symptoms of Panic and also you will be advised to seek counselling (getting it on the NHS is almost impossible in many areas mine included) private counsellors charge form
