my husband of four years used to smoke weed when we met, after about a year he quit but i didn't. a year later he demanded that i stop, I did try but it led to lies and mistrust. we now have two children but i did stop with both pregnancies. he still hate the fact that i smoke and it has led to many arguments, i don't smoke in our house or in the same vicinity as him. but he still gives me a terrible time. I have been smoking for 18 years but he fears for my saftey with the police and our kids. even though i never have more then one blunt at a timeHealth Question & Answer

if you have been smoking weed for 18 years, and have 2 kids, and still cant just stop, you have a drug problem. it sounds like your husband grew up and you didn't. your not in high school, your problems wont just melt away if you get high, and your kids will follow in your footsteps, only they might not be able to stop with just weed. your a grown woman, do you really need a bunch of strangers on yahoo to tell you that drugs-yes even a single blunt a day-are bad for you. get professional help, for your drug habit and your relationship.Health Question & Answer
um..I don't think you have a drug problem.. That's stupid.. Someone who smokes down all day and does nothing but that has a drug problem.. Sounds like your husband needs to get high.. Feed him some special brownies.. Does he drink or smoke ciggerettes.. Maybe you need to get on his case bout that.. Those will hurt far worse then marijuana.. well...coming from a kid whose dad smokes weed, depending on how old your kids are they may know that you do it whether you think they know or not and thats not a very good role model right.? When i found out about my dad it kinda made me think that he wasnt as strong as a person as i thought he was and he is a major person that i look up to. We get in fights sometimes like most parents and teenagers but usually when we do its when hes high/stoned. And you cant tell me that if you found out your kids ever smoked that you wouldnt care. In that case you would wind up being a hypocrite, because by the time they are old enough to know what someone looks like after theyve been smoking, they probably know that you do. So i say listen to your husband. If not for you or him, do it for your kids. And please DONT fall back onto alcohol that tears families apart in more than one way, ive seen it happen personally.Health Question & Answer
