Question: Do you think I'm STI/AIDS free.?
I got a blood test in September. I never got the results. No one ever called me. They told me not to call them, they'd call me. Anyway, I went to a doctor in the same clinic where I got the test done, so he had the results in his folder, and he didn't mention the tests. So do you think im clean.?Health Question & Answer

Im sure that if you had an STD they would have been obligated to tell you as soon as they had the results. also, positive HIV tests go to the health department for their surveillance program. They would have called you in for the post test counseling if you were positive for HIV. Don't be afraid or embarrassed to call the doc's office and ask them what the results are. I mean, you paid for the doc's opinion and for the test to be run, dont you think you deserve the results.?Health Question & Answer

Some times no news is good news but some times offices get busy and may forget to call some one. Most of the time stds show no symptoms so you would never know until you ask your doctor.Health Question & Answer
