Question: Have bronchitis per Dr 3 days ago. Am I apt to be contagious.? Have no fever..?
Answers:
bronchitis is generally caused by a virus -you can pass it on just like the other viruses. keep your inhaler handy, drink lotsa water, and rest.Health Question & Answer

Bronchitis is usually not considered contagious. It is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes that can be caused by bacteria, virus, or irritants like smoke. Some have chronic, low grade bronchitis, cause unknown.

Acute bronchitis, if bacterial, will respond to antibiotic treatment. Docs are reluctant to prescribe antibiotics unless there is fever, even tho my experience is that fever is not necessarily a symptom of bacterial bronchitis.Health Question & Answer

YES but 1st what type do you have Acute or Chronic no big deal both are contagious either one and as long as you are sick you can spread to others so get over this 1st then you wont spread to others by coughing, sneezing sharing things, This is a viral infection and antibiotics do no good for this it works for bacterial infections. Make sure you carry a hand sanitizer and use kleenex when you sneeze or cough or a sleeve or shirt tail to keep the infection from spreading always wash your hands alot to help this as well. It's like having a cold But Bigger and Stronger so do get treatment since this could become worse and turn into pneumonia Can Increase your resistance to all respiratory diseases by not smoking, healthy eating, get lots of rest. and exercising when can this will all help you.Health Question & Answer
