Well now I have noticed a hole where theese chunks are coming out of and if I press around it more white chunks come out like cottage cheese. I don't have tonsils. The chunks smell horrible.Health Question & Answer

Dude you are having infection. These "chunks" are pus particles <infected material> along with bacteria and food debris. Go see a doctor. In all probability you will need antibiotics. Start doing gargles with warm saline water atleast 3 times a dayHealth Question & Answer

Those white chunks are called Tonsilloliths or tonsil stones. They are caused by food debris and bacteria that gets trapped in the nooks and crannies of your tonsils. Since your tonsils were removed, I'm not sure if there is some sort of crevice in your throat, but if there is then that is where the bacteria is getting trapped. This bacteria then calcifies turning into a white or yellowish, cottage cheese textured lump that does smell quite gross. There is no "cure" for these stones, or medicine to prevent them. They are also a huge cause of bad breathe. There are some websites that can give you advice in minimizing the causes of them. You can type in "tonsil stones" or "Tonsilloliths" into your search and a lot of info will pop up.Health Question & Answer

You should probably see a doctor. Its not uncommon to find small, foul smelling, irregular "stones" from the back of the throat, but your description of being able to express large amounts of these from a "hole" in your throat sounds a little unusual to me... especially since your tonsils were removed.Health Question & Answer
