It is so little to say "I'm sorry". But I am. I have seen loved ones fight cancer on a number of occasions. Not all have survived. I hate cancer. Really and truly hate it, focused and intense. The only thing I truly hate. I know this is devastating and this is no time to be alone. Trying to help on the Internet, I can only try to point you to these sites:

Or look for a Gilda's Club if there is one close to you:

This is the hardest thing you will have to live through except if this were to happen to your child. I think this is the true coming of age when no matter your age, you become an adult. If you are really alone, find someone, go to a church, talk to the staff of the hospice, whatever you can, but don't try to take it all on your shoulders... find someone who is there in person, not just the Internet, who can give you a shoulder to lean on. It is hard when you don't want to miss any time with your loved one, but try.

The only other thing I can say is 'hang in there'. Health Question & Answer

I want to take this time and pray for you and your family,I lost my father to cancer, I understand this a hard time and to feel alone is hard .Just understand your mother dont want to fight anymore and that is ok.just be there for her and let her know you love her and she is not alone and understand you are not alone either good luck and may god bless you.Health Question & Answer
