Question: My 5yr old girl has what to looks like a small blemish on the inside of her lower thigh. it was itching .?
yesterday but today just a little pink. i was just told that it was a "boil"....and that it is contagious and need to go see the doc. i honestly think she has a little pimple and its not bothering her so i am not really to worried. any truth to the contagious boil theory that is worthy of a dr. visit.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Boils do not usually itch, sounds like a bug bite to me, use some hydrocortisone cream. If the area gets bigger or starts draining any fluid then see a Dr. Health Question & Answer
