What does a positive TB skin test look like?!
Question: What does a positive TB skin test look like.?
I got a TB test today. I have a son in Preschool and he also got one. You can't even tell where he got it at, but mine is a red circle the size of a nickle. No bumps or anything, just pink. I was wondering what a positive test looks like.?.? Health Question & Answer

A TB test is considered positive when the injection site develops an induration (bump) greater than 10 mm. Redness alone does not indicate a positive test. I too have developed redness after several TB tests, but I was told by the physician that read it that a positive test will have a bump that forms. Health Question & Answer
