I have had it for years and thought it was a genital wart and my OB didn't really know what it was, it didn't look like a wart, but it hurt sometimes and itched. My husband that I have been with for 5 years has never got anything like this on his penis. so I was looking for home remedies for warts and i found something that said peroxide might help, so when i went to put it on there, the bump looked like it was going to pop, i know, super gross, it popped and this super hard, white popcorn kernel looking thing came out, with just a little pus and blood, what might the bump have been or what was the kernel thingy.?Health Question & Answer

Most likely it is a cyst. Some women are just prone to get them. I had same thing, same kernel, puss, blood. I have had these problems since puberty, I'm 38 now and still get them. No way to prevent them. Not a cleaning issue. Some hair folicles just create this. When or if you get bigger ones or if they are sore, it helps me to soak in epson salt hot bath. I have had them drain on their own, or popped by me, or if to painful had Doc drain. I do use hydrogen peroxide to degerm it once open.

It might have just been a staff infection staff lives in the body and can come out any were. Next time you go to the OB ask to see if that could have been it.Health Question & Answer
