Does mayonnaise have lactose in it?!

Question: Does mayonnaise have lactose in it.?
I am lactose intolerant, can I eat mayonaise.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It shouldn't as I have never heard of mayo being made with milk products in them. But you should check the label to be certain. If it says anything about milk solids or whey, then it has lactose. Mayonnaise is made with sugar, but usually that's dextrose.

I just checked the labels of both Best Foods and Kraft and neither of those contain lactose.Health Question & Answer

I don't believe mayo has any kind of cream or milk in it so you should be able to eat it.

It usually consists of eggs, oil, vinegar and some seasonings.
Health Question & Answer

Real mayo is oil and eggs - no danger of lactose.
