Someone I know is coughing up blood?!

Question: Someone I know is coughing up blood.?
Someone that I know is coughing up blood, she also has shortness of breath, and chest pain. She is a smoker, and gets pneumonia, and bronchitis a lot. She also has asthma. She started coughing a while a go, and the suddenly yesterday started coughing up blood, the blood even came out her nose. It doesn't happen everytime that she coughs, but about 3-5 times a day, maybe more. If anyone has any idea of what this could be that would be great if you will answer. She is making an appointment on monday to see her doctor.Health Question & Answer
