My throats been feeling kind of weird, below my adam's apple. I'm checking up thyroid problems and symptoms right now, but I need answers sooner. sometimes I feel a tiny choking sensation, and when i touch it it feels thick. If i press too hard, it hurts a little, but I dont remember if that's what happens with normal necks. So, anyone knows of anyway I can find out about what it could possibly be. well i'd say it is a goiter which just means that it is enlargered. and yeah it would hurt anyone if you push hard on your neck. don't do that.
you could have goiter with either hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. i have a goiter among other symptoms and i have hyperthyroidism and my mom has slight hypothyroidism and she has it.
check to see which symtoms fit better.

Definately see your Dr. And yes, webmd will have very good info for you. You could have a thyroid prob.(hyperthyroid means too much and hypothyroid means not enough) which can result in something called a goiter. Most thyroid disorders occur in women more than men though. So most likely not that.

If you are fearful about your thyroid, see your Physician , he can do a TSH blood test that will show the state of your thyroid, whether it is normal or if there should be any hyper or hypo thyroid problem . Then you can rest at ease. Health Question & Answer
I had hypo active thyroid problems. My neck and head hurt but I did not had any swelling. It make me feels very sick. The Doctor find out by doing a blood test.
