i have seen it prescribed for children. but it was obviously not prescribed for the child or you would know that. you should see a dr to be sure what you are treating. it can be very dangerous to use someone else's prescription drugs on any body, especially on children. bactroban is a tissue penetrating antibiotic cream or ointment. it is not interchangeable with over the counter antibiotic creams or ointments like neosporin.
