Would it be safe to say that bacteria that is gram positive are easier to kill because it only has 2 layers as opposed to 3 layers (Gram Positive).?Health Question & Answer

The Gram positivity of a bacterium is irrelevant to how difficult it is to kill, speaking from a clinical perspective - out in the 'wild' it may be a different issue which I don't know about.
Staph aureus (G+ve) can cause deadly endocarditis, along with destructive abscesses. Strep is the biggest cause of endocarditis & pneumonia (also G+ve). Both can become very difficult to kill - everyone's heard of MRSA, right.? That's a Staph.
