Will getting my tonsils removed make the rest of my mouth stop stinking after i clean it well, or...?!

Question: Will getting my tonsils removed make the rest of my mouth stop stinking after i clean it well, or....?
my mouth stinks after i clean it well. i tried gargleing with the salt water and useing a saline spray in my nose to help clear up the snot, before floss, teeth burshing, and mouthwash, it seemed to help a lil, but i still have snot. i think i have snot cuz i havent been exersizing as noramally as i useually do, cuz when i exesrizeing more, the snot would clear all away. the snot is uncomforable and exsessive, and i think the snot is what is stinking up my mouth, the slimey, sticky, thick, glue like, saliva/snot in my mouth, thought, and sometimes come out of my nose. i think whats happeneing is the snot is running back from my sinuses and thicking cuz i havent been exersizing enough to melt it. i also have tonsil stones that i cant get rid of, and i kno that is why my mouth is stinking too. i know that the tonsil stones(food stuck in my tonsils) is causeing the bad breath and stinky mouth, so i just want to kno when i get them removed, will that make my mouth stop stinking after i clean it well, or is there another reason that could keep my mouth stinky, and what is that reason.? thanksHealth Question & Answer

Bad breath can also come from internally. If after you've had your tonsils out the smell is still there you may have candida in the intestines. Find Grapefruit Seed Extract and take as directed. also chlorophyl helps the stomach.

Too much mucus in the body can be caused by dairy products. Not an allergic reaction, more like intollerance in digesting it. Try cutting dairy out completely (check labels of packaged food too) and see if the mucus clears.

Mouthwashes are SO SO bad for your mouth they should be banned. Since they are extremely good at killing the billions of GOOD bacteria that SHOULD be living in your mouth and keeping things healthy, you're not doing it any favours. My son even got 2 infected saliva glands (we have 4) because of mouthwash. Doctor said never use them.

Anyway I hope it is just the tonsils and everything clears.

edit: Over the counter products I mentioned above have helped 3 people that I know of. (beware sweeping statements!)Health Question & Answer

The stones stink like crazy, and I know from experience that you cannot always keep them clean.

I had mine out (at about the age of 33!), and the smell went away. Apparently, no one but me could smell it, but I could both smell and taste it, and it was awful.

So yes, getting your tonsils out will help. If you still have odor after that, you may need to check with your dentist. Teeth which have problems can also cause odor, even if you are flossing and brushing properly.

Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Yes, You need to get rid of the breath odor, because it is already bothering you. If the tonsils are getting infected too often, then yes, there is a chance the surgeon might remove them, but not because of bad breath. Usually, bad breath can be fixed by your dentist. He will (believe me) will know what to do, coz it could be and inlammation of gum that you can't see. Perhaps dental decay you cannot see. Once you see your dentist and hygienist (dental). If things dont work out, it i possible that the problem is in your stomach. That can be fixed with medications. But needs to be checked out by your doctor. Don't spend money in over-the-counter stuff. won't work. Try my recommendation and send my a post card after your bad breath become history and gone. Of course brushing and floss will be part of the deal once you see your dentist, also antibiotics to kill the bacteria causing the problem.Health Question & Answer
