Question: Ls it possible to have insomnia with a bladder or kidney infection med.?

I know it's usually fatiguee that's the problem, but I have been very anxious-cannot sleep and I am wondering if it is my antibiotic, Sulfa. Does anyone have experience with this.?Health Question & Answer

It is not usual and I don't see it listed as a side effects. Are you on another medication that can interact.? Are you anxious because of the infection and how it has impacted your life.?

Even if insomnia is not listed as a side effect, it may be one that is unknown unless reported. I find this highly unlikely though. I am allergic to this medication but I have given it thousands of times in hospitals. I have never heard of it causing insomnia.Health Question & Answer
