Accutane 40mg-60mg-80mg?!
Question: Accutane 40mg-60mg-80mg.?
Ok been on accutane 4 months now. first 2 40mg. 3rd 60. and now my doc prescribed me 80mg. My face is looking SOOOO good i hardly have half as many bumps just im still breaking out thats why i was prescribed high dosage but people on accutane like around 80mg what have you used to keep your face dry like my face is pretty dry now just scared to see how it is with 80mg. i have creave wash and moisturizer anything better or else i can use. and my face used to be RED now it still is very red but will the 80mg help make the redness go down even more.

Try Cetaphil moisturizing lotion. I use it all the time and I am on 40mg of accutane. Don't get the facial cetaphil moisturizer. Even though it's for the face, it didn't moisturize enough as the lotion did. You can get it at wal-mart. Hope this helps!! Oh, I've only been on 40mg. I've never tried 80mg but I'm sure it won't do anything about the redness. I think I heard from someone that after a month off the pill, the redness will decrease. If not, there are many ways you can get rid of it. By the way, acne sucks ***. Good Luck!!Health Question & Answer
