Question: How Safe Is Heparin From China.?
My mom won her battle with cancer. Her chemo was administered through a port which the doctors are leaving in for another year. She has the port flushed out every three months, then they give her a shot of Heparin(it is injected through the port). I looked at the bottle once and it said, "Made In China". I've heard Heparin has been linked to fatal heart attacks, that's bad enough. But how safe is it coming from China.?Health Question & Answer

If it is not safe, your country won't import that. I find out imported stuff is better than local made. First, they both have quality control at the factory. Second, they've an additional export quality control and third, the imported country will run a list of tests before it put up in the market. The local made stuff sell in the local market with slight imperfect, poor quality, mistake make after fixing without any custom checking. No one is going to pick until the life involve occur.
