well, it depends on the type of infection.
if you want to try to not take them you should be doing this:
-washing cut w/ reg. soap & water
-applying at least one or alternating these:neosporin,tea tree oil, colloidal silver, the spray kind
-take an odorless garlic supplement, this will work just like an antibiotic
-keep it bandaged
