Effects of writing on your skin?!
Question: Effects of writing on your skin.?
I know writing on your skin (hands, arms, etc...) is not particularly good for you, but is it really harmful to your body.? I'm not talking serious drawing with tons of detail... Just a doodle or two for when you're bored in class. Can you really get ink poisoning from a little bit of pen on your hands.? Teachers tell me this all the time.

Most (All, I would hope...) pens out there today are non-toxic, so writing on your hand every now and then should be fine. Just as long as you don't continue writing on your hand frequently, and in great amounts, you should be fine :).Health Question & Answer
You can get mercury poisoning from drawing on yourself with sharpie, I think. But the whole ink poisoning thing is bs. not really true if you just doodle on your arms. I have a friend who drew and wrote on her arms with sharpie for two years and never got sick. People with tattoos sometimes get ink poisoning, but not always even then. Don't worry about it.
