Answers:
Neither hurts that much. Vaccines are quicker than blood work. However, you may experience soreness near the injection site for a few days after the vaccination.Health Question & Answer

A vaccination or an injection.? Vaccinations can be a little annoying for a while, injections hurt for a few seconds, but sticking yourself with a needle while sewing is worse.

In either case, aside from the soreness caused by your body's reaction to the medication, neither one lasts more than a minute or two. (Of course everyone is different - I prefer a quick injection to 3 minutes of bleeding into tubes.)Health Question & Answer

Vaccines typically hurt more than blood tests.

I don't understand why you "really need a vaccine." If it is just for a school requirement, there are exemptions available. .?t=953402" rel="nofollow">http://mothering.com/discussions/showthr...

I encourage you and your parents, if you are a minor, to thoroughly research both the disease and the vaccine, and decide if the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks.Health Question & Answer

Vaccines tend to be more painful because fluid is injected into the muscle causing tissue spread. Having blood drawn just goes through the skin into the vein. Ask your doctor to call in a prescription of Emla Cream. It will numb the area and you shouldn't feel a thing!Health Question & Answer

Vaccines are given deep into the muscle. Blood tests are taken from a vein right under the skin.

I think the muscular vaccine shot hurts way worse than a blood test.Health Question & Answer

They don't hurt, they are just uncomfortable. The blood tests one is a lot more uncomfortable than a shot would be. Health Question & Answer
