Question: My son has Acid Reflux and refuses to eat solid foods.?
He has had reflux since he was born, and he's almost 7 months and still refuses to eat solid foods. His twin sister eats all kinds of foods. He closes his mouth turns away. When I catch him with his mouth open I put it in and he then eats it, but he won't open his mouth willingly for it. Help.?!Health Question & Answer

it sounds horrible, but ive heard in these cases that they will eat it when theyre hungry. maybe ween him off what he is eating now, and see then if he'll eat solids.
or..
try teething biscuits, once theyre use to it, dip it in the food, and give it to him.
you can try setting cheerios or rice puffs in a bowl infront of him, babies are curious and they put anything in their mouths..
but never force them, he'll eat on his own time..
this just may mean he'll be a picky eater when he's older, which he should be becuase I have acid reflux and its not fun....i eat all the wrong things!Health Question & Answer

Sometimes people put rice cereal in a bottle for babies with acid reflux.
Try really tasty foods, my little girl loved sweet potatoes but would not even keep rice, barley, or any other baby cereal in her mouth!
