Can a UTI go away by itself without using antibiotics? ?!
Question: Can a UTI go away by itself without using antibiotics.? .?
Answers:
it all depends on how severe the uti is. It also depends on what kind of bacteria you have and whether it is sitting in your bladder, kidneys and so on. Most of the time if it is not so severe yes you can get rid of it with drinking lots of water and making sure you are hygienically taking care of yourself. also stay away from sex for awhile if you are sexually active. if it does not go away by itself within 3 or 4 days, go to the store and buy pure cranberry juice, not the cocktail kind. stick to that and water. if nothing after that then grab some over the counter pills and take them as accordingly to the package.
if after about a week and nothing yet...then i would consider contacting your doctor. but really you can get rid of it with what i said.

Health Question & Answer
ABSOLUTELY NOT! You HAVE to see a doctor ASAP! If you don't, IT WILL end up in the kidneys and you will end up in the hospital a lot worse then you were. Would you rather go now and get antibiotics, or spend a week in the hospital on iv antibiotics.?Health Question & Answer
Not usually. Left untreated, it will lead to a kidney infection. And trust me, you do not want that. I have had two kids and I would prefer to give birth again then go through another kidney infection. It is horribly painful. Health Question & Answer
Sure!
However, it usually just escalates into a full-blown kidney infection.
That means hospitalization and possible kidney failure.
So just go to the darn doctor, ok.?Health Question & Answer
