Question: Blood Disorder question that could kill me..?
I caught some strange throat virus in Malaysia and the Malaria tablets i'm taking are making it worse. But i can't stop taking the tablets because I got mozzie bites in the village and they could be malaria bites. But if the throat infection gets much worse I may need surgical attention on my throat. But I cant have that becuase of Von Willebrands and chances are after surgery on the throat 1-3 year later I would have an attack and drown in my own blood.
Is there anyway to cure this.? Im only 14 and I dont want die yet, Please help me!

If you're still in Malaysia, contact the nearest United States Embassy and ask for their assistance on finding a doctor for treatment.
It sounds to me like you're going to need additional antibiotics intravenously. If the malaria tablets aren't helping then a more aggressive antibiotic is needed. Have your parents take you to the nearest walk in clinic for an evaluation. Even with Von Willdebrands Disease you will be able to receive intravenous antibiotics. Good luck.
