Sore throat won't go away?!
Question: Sore throat won't go away.?
I have a really sore throat, I'm not sure if it's strept throat or not, and I can't go to the clinic because it's closed today and tomorrow for thanksgiving.
So I have tried drinking a mug of 1 cup water, 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar, and 3 tablespoons honey, and I have gargled water with cayenne pepper 8 times so far today. Websites said that these things should work but my throat still hurts alot when I swallow. What else should I do.?.?Health Question & Answer

it's probably ur tonsils. they're swollen cuz they're infected or exposed to cold weather (which prbly gets it infected anyway). you should gargle salt water (dnt put a lot of salt in just enough so you can taste that salt) gargle it before you go to sleep each nite after u sleep and dnt drink any water after that. The salt will kill off the infection or bacteria. If this dsnt help u need to go to the docs u mite have tonsilitis (but i doubt it)Health Question & Answer
Take your temperature. If you have a fever or you develop one tomorrow, go to the hospital. If not, take an ibuprofen or other over-the-counter painkiller (the bottle should indicate how frequently you can safely take it), keep drinking lots of fluids (hot tea with honey is good), and visit the clinic as soon as it opens.Health Question & Answer
