I can't tell much from your photo, but here is what I can tell you. For those never exposed to herpes simplex aka fever blisters or cold sores an extreme reaction can occur the first time you are exposed. This can range from full mouth outbreaks of blister, fevers, flu like symptoms, etc. This normally wouldn't occur immediately, but it is possible. An allergic reaction can also cause swelling of the lips and blisters. These blisters don't traditionally get all pus like and turn into ulcers. See if taking benadryl helps. Do you know what the guy had eaten or if he had lip stuff on.? Or the two may not be connected at all and it could be something you ate or touched that you are just allergic to. You can get genital herpes in the mouth...although you claim you just kissed... I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a coincidence honey, people get mouth sores, cold sores randomly, especially in the fall/winter months, it's dry weather, you get chapped easily. Don't panic, it's coincidence, bet you it's nothing, go get it checked at the doctor if that would make you feel better, OR buy this, it works wonders :)

i would ask a doctor because that could be a certain STD or AIDS viruse. Not a really bad one...but a minor one. I mean it could also be cold sores...but normally those are white. So try calling a local clinic...and describing it and see if they want you to come in.
