HANG on there lol
I was a CNA for a lonnng time and my mom is an RN. I was also in medical assisting school.

First off...from what I have been told...what is it...oh yeah!! HANDS!! We use them, we dont wash them, we touch something, something goes to mouth, nose, eyes..so on. This is how things like Pink eye, colds, MRSA, and more are spread

Inhalation isnt that bad. Unless you dont use precautions like a mask with someone who has the Flu or a cold, or maybe MRSA, then well...

Injection: Well...After someone uses a needle, they are TO RECAP the needle ASAP and use a RED box. Once its in the box, it cant be broken in to nor opened. If you stick your self with a needle, then use soap, water, and tell your sup. 99% of the time, nothing will happen. you will get blood work and so on.

Absorption: Not sure about this one. Only thing I know is that of a patch.

I would say..ER nurses/Docs, RNs ( handleing Needleds), CNAs (taking care of the sick person more then a Nurse), and an EMT/FF.

ER Nurse/Doc: they use knives, and such. One wrong move and the gloeve wont stop a sharp blade.

RN: needles, tubes that have been used, caths that were used...many here

CNA: We are in direct contact with them. We can get hit, kicked, touch things like poo, pee and mucus that can carry this, and many more.

EMT/FF: They are in the most serious situations besides an ER doc. They come in contact with Blood, mucus, brain matter..all kinds of things.

As long as someone uses "universal Precautions" then there isnt much if any worry.Health Question & Answer

The main one is obviously inhalation...since everyone breaths! Second would be ingestion, since most people end up with their fingers in their mouth at some point during the day...Health Question & Answer
