What is the difference between a cyst, Abscess, and boil?!

Usually a cyst is a infection caused by bacteria which can reside in the sub-dermal layer of the skin or deep tissue. It is a bacterial colony which can remain and grow in deep tissue. Boil is a infection usually caused by bacteria species which projects outward and on the surface of epidermal layer. However, some boils have been known to reach the sub-dermal layer as well.
