Wash it with hot soapy water, dry it completely and cover it with a band-aid. Wash his hands and check his fingernails- if its impetigo he could spread it through scratching. Keep it covered until you can get him to a Md. Does he have a fever .? Does he have these patches anywhere else.? It could be a number of things- ingrown hair, allergic reaction, skin infection, psoriasis- I recommend getting him seen, anything that close to his eyes, nose, mouth ect.. could be dangerous. So check for an allergic reaction. Pus means that the rash is infected. Change his pillow cover more often (every ady) and see. Sometimes, at night, he sweats around the neck and the bed sheets can cause that too.
