Answers:
a formal intervention is when friends and family get together and tell their loved one that drugs/alcohol are ruining their lives and that they must get help.

Inpatient care is when the patient is taken to a rehabilitation center to get better and overcome their addiction

Outpatient care is when the patient lives at home and either visits a professional, support groups or a combination of the two to avoid a relapse.

A relapse is when a patient quits the addiction but falls off the wagon so to speak and starts the addictive behavior again.

Hope this clears things upHealth Question & Answer
