Question: I ripped off a mole and it .?
i ripped off a mole and it started bleeding. i put a band- aid on it and it stopped, but when i pulled the band- aid off like 8 hours later, it started bleeding again, so i went to football practice and my pads pressing up against it stopped it, but it formed this thing that looks like a blood blister. i wanna know if this is a cancerous thing or a problem or if i can get it removed and go on with my life.? I would get it checked out. Moles don't usually come off that easily so unless you were scratching at it incessantly, it may not have been a mole to begin with. To be safe though, ask your doctor to recommend a dermatologist especially if there is a history of skin cancer in your family.
The doctor can also tell you what to look for in moles regarding colour, shape, etc. This is something you should be aware of if you have a lot of moles and again especially if there is a history of skin cancer in your family.

. At some point they may just fall off. You have just ripped off while it was loose. They hardly leave a scar or mark. Moles are almost never cancerous and seldom dangerous. A doctor would have removed it for you for $150. You just saved the money. So you shouldn't worry to much about it if it doesn't go away i would recommend seeing a docter. Preferred a dermatologist. you need to go to a dermatologist. it could be nothing, but your moles are on your body for a reason, plus you sweating and bandaging it and letting it bleed for so long could cause an infection, so call and make an appointment as soon as you can, dont panic but get it looked at as soon as you can.
