No - if you were going to another GP at the same practice they have access to your notes and recent prescriptions and will not prescribe you more than you are due. If you go to another GP practice they will not treat you except as an emergency without you registering with them so that they have access to your notes too. Even if they were to see you in an emergency it would be protocol to phone your own doctor for advice first.
