Question: I may have swallowed a tiny piece of glass.?
If you swallow a tiny piece of glass that you don't catch in your mouth and it does not hurt going down are the chances pretty good that you will just pass it.? I may have accidently swallowed a very small piece small enough to not hurt in my mouth. But I can't have x-rays as I am pregnant.
My midwife says I should be just fine but I don't want to get an infection or hurt the baby if it gets stuck there and I get an infection in my intestines. I just went through kidney stone pains and the last thing I need is to have something like this happen.. ugh.Health Question & Answer

You should be OK. There are many things we eat and don't even know about it that pass right through us. Just be aware of any strange pains (that I doubt you will get) for the next 24-48 hours.
