Question: Has anyone else been messed up after taking a Glucose test.?
They wouldn't let me eat but the test wasn't till 4:40 in the afternoon. Then I was so tired when I got home I just sat there. I woke up at noon today. I'm still sleepy. WTF. Has this happened t oanyone else.?Health Question & Answer

4:40 in the afternoon is a little late to be doing the test, especially if you hadn't eaten since dinner the night before. Most of the time they want people to be really on the hungry thirsty side when they do the GTT. 10 hours is sufficient fasting time for making sure one does indeed get a sugar rush from a sugar low!
The roller coaster ride you went on can make you so sleepy you just keel over when you get home. I don't think this is at all necessary when they can do an HbA1c with no fasting to see where your average glucose levels have been for the past 90 to 120 days!Health Question & Answer

The glucose that you drank might of raised your glucose level to a very high level which made you sleepy or your level went too high and your pancreas produced a surge of insulin and your sugar went too low. Your going to wait and see the results of your test. I can always tell when my blood sugar is too high or low just by the way If feel.I'm assuming your Dr.suspects you might be diabetic.
