Afraid of HIV.. How soon can I take an accurate HIV test? What are some early signs of HIV?!

Question: Afraid of HIV.. How soon can I take an accurate HIV test.? What are some early signs of HIV.?
ok heres my story I had sex 3 days ago(first half unprotected second part no protection) for the first time with a guy I thought I know... I guess not...since then Ive been having symptoms like

Side stomach pain
Feelings of panic, fear and uneasiness
tingling in my body
Uncontrollable, obsessive thoughts
Ritualistic behaviors, such as repeated hand washing
Problems sleeping
loss of appetiate
Cold or sweaty hands and/or feet
Shortness of breath
An inability to be still and calm
Dry mouth
Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
Nausea
Muscle tension all overrrrrrrrrrr
Constant urinating
Constipation
Which all leads to Aniexty. I also think i might be anemic because my monthly cycles only last 2-3 days! Though i like the lessen days i know something is not right there. I have the other signs as well, i am constantly feeling cold, tired.I just wished the rapid test didnt put my mind in this state, this waiting game.

I welcome your feedbacks and suggestions as to how i can get through this waiting period without completly losing my mind. Whats my bright side to all this.? Any hope i can look forward to having a negative test result.?

It just sounds like your paranoid, stressed, and nervous; calm down. It usually take your body some where between 2-12 weeks before you have symptoms. The only way you know for sure is to have an HIV test conducted. I'm assuming that you know when you think you know someone..you really don't. We all make mistakes; don't worry, everything will turn out in your favor.

There are different types of Anemia, that mainly have to do with Iron deficiencies.

Check out the sites listed. Lastly, calm down!! (don't forget safe sex)Health Question & Answer

HIV presents as cold/flu like symptoms that do not go away. 3 days is not enough time for the virus to effect your system Antibodies would probably not show up on a blood test for about 6 months, so getting a test would be pointless.

Your symptoms are more than likely related to anxiety, you should see a Dr about the anemia and for other STD testing. Health Question & Answer

If everyone went for a HIV test after unprotected sex the hospitals would be overwhelmed. Ask your partner if he is HIV positive (surely he would have insisted on a condom if he were.?) and stop worrying. You have hypochondria, not HIV. Consult a doctor about your very brief periods, and get checked out for anemia; that can cause many of the symptoms you mention.Health Question & Answer

My best guess at this point is your symptoms are purely psychological.. Good luck and be more careful in the future.Health Question & Answer

Sure sounds like you done went and got yourownself a big ol' dose of the AIDS.

ok lady, firstly you wouldnt feel the symptoms of hiv in 3 days ok but that doesnt mean you shouldnt get tested for stds anyway. it only takes a short time to get tested - there is no shame in taking care of your health so dont worry about the docs judging you - just do it and have peace of mind. if you have caught something from the guy the quicker you get tested the quicker you get treated, and most std's can be treated easily. i think most of the things your feeling are due to stress! you already know now how stupid it is to risk having sex unprotected so be more careful in future and carry your own protection. even in a relationship you should get tested before having unprotected sex as most std's dont have noticeable symptoms. i hope it helps and everything is fine.Health Question & Answer

So what makes you think you have HIV.? You have Anxiety. Period. Go buy some valerian and st john's wort. I have Anxiety and I have every single one of those symptoms, and I know I don't have HIV. Did your partner have HIV.? You are being ridiculous. Calm down. You're fine. Your inability to cope with the stress of waiting for HIV test results is whats giving you those symptoms. None of them really match an immuno deficiency virusHealth Question & Answer
