What disease/illness do i have?!

Question: What disease/illness do i have.?
I've been ill for last 11 weeks now with a stomach ache almost all the time, my appetite has gone, im struggling to eat and i've lost over 2 stone now. Im also exhausted all the time, im not normally a lazy person but im needing around 15 hours sleep a night now. also sometimes i feel like i need the toilet but nothing comes out and i had diarrhoea until a few weeks ago. I've had a gastroscopy, ultrasound, baruim x-ray as well as blood tests and a stool sample, im not lactose intollerant and im not stressed. And i've taken 3 different medications incase its IBS and neither have helped. I dont know what it could be and i've hardly been able to leave the house for 11 weeks. Has anyone got an idea what could be wrong with me.? Thanks a lot

You are obviously going through it.
You have posted this or similar questions quite a few times and we have tried to help but without a detailed examination and seeing all the results of tests so far we cannot really give a definite answer or diagnosis.
What type of foods do you eat.? Do you live alone.? Are you looking for suggested illnesses to help guide your GP.?
ou have undergone many tests and are due to have a colonoscopy, I hope this gives you the answer to your illness as obviously we can't, we can only answer specific Qs (like treatment for Crohn's disease) or put forward suggestions and the latter might make you worry more. To post so many questions you must be worried which means anxious and that aggravates most conditions.Health Question & Answer

Gosh I wish I could help, but it seems a bit similar to me

I've had constant diarrhoea, tired all the time and terrible stomach cramps

I've had a colonscopy which showed a polyp which was removed ,
An Ultrasound showed 1 measly gall stone

I'm on ant -spasmodic for stomach pains and fibre to bulk up BM's

I'm no further forward either and have been like this since August

so I understand fully your concerns

I do hope some one somewhere can offer some answersHealth Question & Answer

I've no idea but if I was you I'd return to the doctor for advice. meanwhile try to drink build up drinks to help maintain your weight.even if it's just IBS it wants sorting out.sometimes we think we're not stressed but our bodies know different.that loss of weight can't be right don't be put off by the doctors attitudes to you it is your right to be healthy so fight to get it sorted.could be anything really no one can really advise but the professionals so go back get them to sort you out don't be afraid to say hey I know you did all this but Im still sick so whats wrong!!!!Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you may be suffering from ulcerative colitis, the symptoms you have described are consistent with ulcerative colitis from needing to go to the toilet but nothing happening right down to the constant tiredness and fatigue, Ulcerative colitis is often mistaken for IBS as some of the symptoms are similar
Diagnonsis is usually done by blood and stool samples, (blood samples as they are looking for things like aenemia) or by colonoscopy or by sigmoidoscope ( a flexible tube with a camera attached to see what is going on in there)
There are many treatments for this condition, however it can seem to magically go away, it will always come back though, i would recommend you see your doctor again and have him/her go through Ulcerative colitis with you, Meantime you can google it and get some information on it yourself, try having a look at .?articleId=381&sectionId=1" rel="nofollow">http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/articles/art...

I wish you luck and i hope this helped
