Burnt byself on the sunbeds?!

Question: Burnt byself on the sunbeds.?
I am in so much pain! it will go down in a couple days but my skin is really burning. I have heard vinegar helps.? Will it sting though.? any other home remedy's i can do.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
The vinegar wont sting but it will stink! It helps take the heat out though.

Natural yogurt can also be applied to the skin and has a nice cooling effect.

Two cups of baking soda in a warm bath is another remedy that works well.

Lavender oil is good to help ease the pain as long as you mix it with something else like an unscented moisturizer or something similar.

Taking over the counter pain medication is also effective for sunburn, a couple of acetaminophen or ibuprofen will help you out.

Be careful next time you go for a sunbed or if I'm being all preachy, cut them out all together, they truly aren't good for you but I'm sure already know all this.

Hope you get some relief,
Gx

Health Question & Answer

A pain reliever such as aspirin could be in order. Other useful things are aloe vera and an old fashioned milk bath. I also once resorted to a first aid cream for a sun burn on my shoulders that was bad enough to bleed.Health Question & Answer
