Antidepressants and amnesia?!

Question: Antidepressants and amnesia.?
I've been on Wellbutrin for about 3 months and always feel a little "hazy" now. I used to have a photographic memory, but now I can't clearly recall events or conversations. It's not like Ambien (which I took and apparently sleepwalked/sleep ate, and carried on long, deep conversations that I do not remember at ALL)

I'm getting a little scared, and wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I feel like I'm getting my life back with Wellbutrin after the hell of depression I was in, but the fogginess has gotten progressively worse and I worry about long-term side effects. Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Every antidepressant medication has side effects. You just need to evaluate the way you feel now and the way you felt in the past and you should come to the conclusion that a little fogginess is a small price to pay for getting your life back. Talk to your doctor and he will be able to explain it better. What ever you do, don't just discontinue the med on your own. It could throw your system into a huge emotional wreck. Many have committed suicide when abruptly discontinuing use.Health Question & Answer
