Question: I got a steroid shot about 5-6 hours ago...it still hurts!.?
I have been sick ever since friday with everything stopped up in my head, and all the glands in my neck are swollen i went to the doctor on friday and then again today since i wasnt getting better and actually getting worse so i went today and they tested me for mono, i dont have it thank the Lord! but i still had to get a steroid shot to help the swollen glands in my neck area, but they havent really gotten better, my nose has cleared up a little but nothing else has.
I guess my real question is, is when will the pain go away from the shot.?.? lol
i have also been on zpac and fixing to get on amoxisilon or something like that...

oh and im 14 and a girl if that matters also i got the shot in my rear end area lol so it kinda hurts to sit and put weight on that leg, like its just sore its not like really bad pain or anything...im just wondering

it will go away -- it hurts because it was in ur bottom -- a big muscle. unfortunately it will last for a little while -- a few days at least hope you feel betterHealth Question & Answer
give the shot 24hrs to help your symptoms and for the pain from the injection to subside. An ice pack might help your sore tush. I have had a few shots in the butt and I feel your pain. Just try to lay down on your side that wasn't injected and rest as much as possible. Health Question & Answer
