Is this normal after an asthma attack?!

Question: Is this normal after an asthma attack.?
Is it normal to feel weak and fatigue a few days after a severe asthma attack.?

I was taken to the hospital the other night - that was 3 days ago. The first day after the attack, I could barely get out of bed. The second day, I wasn't as weak but still felt sore. Today, the soreness and weakness came in waves.

Is this normal for someone to experience after a severe attack.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I believe it is. Your body went through a traumatic experience and your muscles and organs were straining to get oxygen. So they will need to recuperate. You may feel soreness for about a week maybe a little longer depending on the severity of the attack.Health Question & Answer

hi im 32 years old and i have had asthma since i was 7 years old. i have been rushed to the er many times in my life for asthma attacks and been hospitalized for it. just last weak on friday i was at the er for treatment again and yes i am still feeling weak and chest pain every now and then this is normal. my doc told me to rest. you should do the same. if you use your Ventoline more then 4x a week your asthma is under control and you need to re evaluate your inhalers. in the fall asthma gets worsebecausee of the cool air and Extremee changes in the air col not cold freezing warm your bronculare tubes take a hit. i find that drinking a hot cup of coffee helps because caffeine dialates thebronchiale tubes for easier breathing. good luck Health Question & Answer
