How do i get rid of red/pink inflammation from my pitbull-terrier? ?!

Question: How do i get rid of red/pink inflammation from my pitbull-terrier.? .?
I don't know why my pitbull is nibbling/chewing/licking her front paws i feed her play with her and take good care of her she lives inside with me and my family. I walk her i a public field across the street from my house where she does her business/run around. I've been walking her in the field for about 1 year 11 months now and i don't think its the field that's causing the problem. She's eating Pedigree i switched her diet due to money issues but shes back on Pedigree. This just started about months ago, If anyone can help me out with this issue it will be most appreciated...Thank you Health Question & Answer

hey i have a pitty too and i found out that most pitbulls are allergic to corn and that's the main ingredient in pedigree so it might be that or it can be a sunburn (they're the only dogs that can get sunburned) or just maybe some sort of allergy to the field but to help her give her benadryl(sp.?) 10mg for every 20lbs so one pill for every 20lbs mine is supose to have 2 1/2 but i give her 2 cuz cutting that small pill in half is a pain and try white vinegar and water mixed (50/50) and spray it on her paws it will help with the itching. has she done this her whole life or just recently.? my pitty licks her toes on the top when she's falling asleep as a pacifier type feeling something like that or sucks on blankets, but hope this helpsHealth Question & Answer

Maybe you Pitbull thinks its paws are kittens, other dogs, or children and that is why he's trying to eat them.Health Question & Answer

My ABPT gets a rash all over him in the summer. Its kind of like a heat rash. My vet told me give him children's benedryl and while it doesn't clear it up, he doesn't itch at it. Then once it gets cooler in the fall, his skin clears up. He's mostly an inside dog, too. While I don't recommend giving your dog anything without talking to your vet, maybe you should look into some type of allergy medicine for her.? If she's big like mine (96 lbs) you might be able to get away with children's medicine, which is cheaper than dog medicine. I'd talk to your vet about it. Health Question & Answer

Wow... it's pretty difficult to come to a conclusion since her routine hasn't been changed. I'm still going to go with some kind of allergic reaction from something she might picked up during her walks. She could've also gotten cut which made her lick her paws and inflamed the bruise. Or even a bite from something. If it hasn't been that long I will suggest to keep her under observation as to see if it gets any worse. I imagine it could be a bunch of things but in the end if it doesn't get better, the vet will be the only one that can tell you for sure.Health Question & Answer
