Because doesn't the flu shot have a weak virus inside, thus making your body fight it and immune to it.?

Flu vaccines give the person a very small dose of the flu so there body can protect itself from the flu itself. It is possible for the vaccine to hurt or possibly kill your younger brother. I STRONGLY suggest having your brother get checked by a doctor so you will know if he can have the vaccine or not. I also HIGHLY SUGGEST do not let your brother go WITHOUT the vaccine or he will for sure die.
Because people with certain diseases like Lupus or maybe people with an immune system that kills everything including the good things or perhaps people with rather weak immune systems are also in risk of getting horribly sick or dieing from the Flu Vaccine.

It doesn't have a weak virus it has a dead virus, so no, you cannot get sick from the flu shot. HOWEVER, my own little tid-bit...I do not believe in the flu shot. Why.? Because the flu has millions of different strands and the flu shot only protects you against 1 strand. They have no way of ever figuring out which strand will be prevalent each year, so the make an educated guess. Do you think the CDC has even guessed right.? Nope. So basically you flu shot is pointless. I am a health care clinician with direct patient care and I don't get the flu shot. Why get poked if it's not going to even protect me from anything.?Health Question & Answer
