Question: I have this cut on my lip.?
i fell and hit my face on the pavement and cut my lip
it has this yellowish/whiteish stuff on it and it looks like some find of meat fat
idk if its scar tissue...
so what can i do to make it heal faster and take care of it.?
ive noticed that there are some small yellow-ish circles or dots on my cut

It is typical for injuries to the lip to have a different appearance while healing than other places because the tissue is generally moist. If it start to swell, get hot to the touch, and ooze fluid than you need to worry about infection. Hydrogen Peroxide is the WORST thing to put on it, as it kills both the harmful bateria as well as the cells that are repairing the damage. It actually make the healing process take about 3 times longer. I would wash it out with hydrogen peroxide. H30. It will clean it out so that it heals faster and doesn't get infected. Once I cut my finger and it started to turn green. EWW. I would also recommend keeping lip balm on it as that seems to help when I cut my lips or they chap. But for sure, hydrogen peroxide. Just be careful not to get it on your clothes because it may bleach, not as bad as bleach, but still a difference. P.S. It will only burn if its infected badly.Health Question & Answer
sounds infected. just to be safe put polysporin on it or something (always put medicated cream on a cut! it helps it heal better and faster and prevents infection!)
