Question: Getting off Prednisone after long time anyone.?
Will I lose the weight I gained just by getting off of it.?

so in a sense it makes you put on weight..i know with my disease i crave salty things that doesnt help either..
i have to stay it on it rest of my life i certainly wish i could find something else to be on...it makes me want to eat all day long.

The thing is steroids doesn't MAKE you gain weight it increases your appetite which causes the increase of eating and then weight. So when you get off technically your appetite should return to normal, just eat light and do light exercise and you should shed the weightHealth Question & Answer
