You got well.
High blood sugar can be caused by many things... including steroid use, disease, stress, and others. Just because you had a high blood sugar episode, doesn't mean you were diabetic.
I no longer take medication for my diabetes. By one person's standards, you could say I'm cured. By others, you couldn't. I'm not going to push it, though. I'm going to continue eating healthy and exercising daily.Health Question & Answer

Don't be fooled by just how you feel. If you have Diabetes, it does not go away. You medicate it and manage it but you have it for life.
