Photosensitive seizures?!
Question: Photosensitive seizures.?
When I was about 16 I was in a room with a strobe light and suddenly I felt like my brain was sort of squeezing and just felt weird all over. It's really not a sensation I can explain well, but it was definitely not normal. I covered my eyes right away after I started feeling that way and the weird sensation that came all over me went away and was left just with a headache. That same year there was a mural with black and white tiles drawn on it on the wall of our high school, and everytime I would walk towards it I would feel the same sensation, and would go away after I closed my eyes for a while. Now, even after a few years have passed I still am bothered by fluorescent lights (when they flash really quickly when they're about to be burnt out) and at times, especially or almost exclusively when it's dark, I have a feeling like I'm dissociated from my surroundings. I haven't ever gotten that checked out, but I feel like what I've experienced are symptoms of photosensitive seizures (perhaps not the last one, but definitely the ones before that). The thing is, I don't think I've ever had like a grand mal seizure or anything, just that extremely strange feeling of my brain squeezing and my entire body starting to feel cold and weird. Could I in fact have some kind of photosensitive epilepsy, and by closing my eyes to get away from the stimulus when I have those symptoms prevent me from having a grand mal seizure.? Or would what I'm experiencing be totally unrelated.?Health Question & Answer

I've heard of seizures associated with flashing lights. However, the fact that you describe a squeezing brain and sudden cold indicates that your symptoms are being caused by a spirit (ghost). As a matter of fact, idiopathic epilepsy is caused by a spirit.
Spirits often latch on to individuals about the head (think of the saints and their halos). The feeling of a spirit doing this is often described as a tension-type headache.
I think that this spirit does not like looking at those light triggers. It is able to see them through your eyes.Health Question & Answer
