hi im pretty new to answers n it seams like it helps me with alot of questions, now i have a problem, im currently 18 years old and i have been smoking weed for about 4 years now and i would say i smoked every day. In the last couple of months i started realizing little pain in where i thought was my lungs. Now today i woke up with a sharp pain in my lower right chest. i feel the pain when i inhale and exhale deep. But when i touch the area (touch my ribs) it kinda feels like a bruise, so i thought i couldve slept bad on my side the whole night, but im still really curious if this is a sign of lung cancer or maybe something else. i also dont know too much about bronchitis but i think i might have it as well. and my last question is can i just go to a walk in clinic or i need to find my doctor which i havent gone to in a while.Health Question & Answer

Chances are you probably don't, but you seriously need to grow up and quit the weed before something REALLY life threatning happens to you.
You need to get it checked by the doctor. Yes, you may just go to a walk in clinic. Bud, if you really do have cancer, throw the fricken weed against the wall. You ****** up by starting this.
EDIT: It's good that your trying to quit. You should see a specialist to help you with that.
And the pain on your ribs is a bit strange. I really don't think that has anything to do with your lungs, considering your lungs are inside your ribs, underneath them.
I know how depressing it is to think you have cancer. My own mom was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, and that was bad enough. I can't imagine my self having to worry about that. Luckily, she's okay now.
And as of you, I wouldn't be worrying too much. Just go to a walk-in clinic and tell the doctor everything you told me on this question.

I doubt it is cancer esp if all you smoke is weed. It could be a pneumothorax or just gas. Go see a doctor to be safe but cancer is way off the list of things to be worried about.
