Scars: Do they make you who you are?!
Question: Scars: Do they make you who you are.?
Are you proud of your physical scars.? (Unintentionally put of course)
Like from survived accidents, etc.?
I have a lot from childhoold acne and accidents.
I have 4 keloid scars on my chest that I try to hide because I am insecure of what guys will say/think. I've had a lot of people point them out. Other then that, I am a very beautiful, smart and loving person.
Do guys notice things like that...Health Question & Answer

I am very proud of my scars. they are great conversation starters, and they remind me of all that I've overcome in my life. I know guys that love my scars, it turns them on that I can be tough too. I say flaunt it, you earned those scars. If you are still self conscious they have a lot of great creams out now that can help with discoloration and even reduce the scars. I say be proud! I have one on my arm from a bullwhip of all things.
When I was a kid Indiana Jones was my hero - and so I bought a whip at some tourist trap once I got home promptly snapped it at a pie plate on a pole....it snapped back and cut me pretty deeply most of the way around my forearm.
I dont recall anyone ever asking about it, but when every once in a while the topic of scars will come up - and I get to say nonchalantly "I happen to have one from a bullwhip" and when people give me the "WTF" look, I give them the "wouldn't you like to know.?" look in return. I get a kick out of that....
I have some other scars too....like I said, no one ever really asks about them, but they do make me who I am...Health Question & Answer

I've been inside Veterans Hospital and have seen scars.
Sometimes the damage is so extensive any repair isn't
good enough. Some respond by craft and isolation as
others turn a blind eye to what they find amid normals.
I'd like to think I'd go out with the latter. Maybe I'm not
going to be selected for Valhalla either. That is a pity.Health Question & Answer
