My grandfather is dying...?!

Question: My grandfather is dying....?
my grandfather is dying. He has a brain tumor and he only has a minimum of three months to live. He is depressed because of the loss of his wife (my grandmother). he won't take treatment because he doesn't want to prolong his own misery. I am not worried about me, I never had a strong bond with him. I'm worried about my mom. She is becoming slightly depressed, she WILL NOT see a doctor because she herself doesn't thinks she is depressed even though I found her locked in her bedroom crying. The loss of her mother was bad, and just after she finally recovered from the sadness of her mother's death, now she has this to deal with. He will be told the news this weekend. We are taking a plane to where he lives over the holiday. I'm really nervous because my mom is going to be really sad and I am the only one who can comfort her. what should I do.? What can I do to comfort her and help her through this hard time.? Health Question & Answer

So sorry that you have to carry this burden.Your grandfather is just completing his life cycle and on a personal note i think its a gift he will be with his wife so soon.Your Mom who you love dearly is about to lose some one she loves dearly, how else could you expect her to act but depressed. If it where me Would go with the at least he will be with grandma theme.Just be there hold her, listen if she wants to talk and allow her to go cry in her room. This is really a major life change she is about to face. Its wonderful that she has you what a gift you will be to help her through this, only time will heal her loss.Health Question & Answer
