Question: What is my medical problem.?
I've been having problems with my blood latley, anemia to be more specific, they recently did some more blood work and called and asked if i had any asian in my family, and i dont, they referred me to an oncologist on which i go monday, can anyone help.?Health Question & Answer

Well there's several things that you would to specify before anyone can give you an accurate result such as, family medical history, what kind of anemia (blood loss, iron deficiency, etc.), also your current habits, like smoking or drinking.
The only thing I can think of why he would ask about an Asian background is because liver cancer is common among Asian Americans, which may explain the oncologist.
